Kathy Owens
After attending Indiana University - Kokomo in 1968 and 1969, Kathy continued her career in banking which she had begun after graduating from high school. However, in 1974, she made the decision to stay at home and devote herself to raising a family and being a full-time mother.
It was during that period she began to gain valuable real estate and decorating expertise. She and her husband built three office buildings, two homes, developed a small subdivision, an apartment complex, and decorated several condominiums.
In 1984 Kathy continued her education by obtaining an Associates Degree in Interior Design. Those classes gave her the desire to re-enter the work force since her children were growing up. In 1986 she became a licensed real estate sales associate. She completed her requirements to become a principal broker in 1987. She has represented cfd REALTY, Inc. since that time serving as its President, principal broker, and leading producer.
